VODAK Taranis Extra C OFF-
Description of wood
VODAK Taranis Extra C OFF- is a slightly stiffer universal-offensive 5-ply wood with two layers of carbon. This wood moves at the OFF and OFF- speed.
The wood can be fine-tuned with covers - softer slower softs for maximum control, easy blocking and topspin play, or harder faster covers for pressure topspin play.
Thanks to the larger curve and medium offensive tempo, this wood will suit all technical and offensive topspiners who benefit from accuracy, rotation and, most importantly, a low number of their own mistakes. The wood has a low weight, excellent feel, pleasant soft-feel and is suitable for any offensive style of play at the table and in the middle distance, with vigorous end strokes. For very aggressive shots, the player does not get too good, because the wood develops a relatively large catapult.
Extra control, extra feel, excellent rotation support, perfect balance and low weight - this is Vodak Taranis Extra C OFF- wood.
Taranis Extra C OFF- also offers great possibilities in playing with grass, sandwich or antispin. Active play with grass or sandwich is very unpleasant and difficult to predict for opponents. After an attack and a block with grass or a sandwich, the ball bounces very low from the table, making it quite difficult for the opponent to make another attack.
The properties of this wood will be appreciated especially by blockers playing with a sandwich.
The center is made of Kiri veneer, the upper veneers are made of Ayous wood and in combination with the carbon, placed just below them, they guarantee a very above-standard feeling and support of rotation.
Carbon layers also give the wood stability, and thus rigidity and accuracy in attack strikes. It is very pleasant to play with Taranis Extra C Off wood and, thanks to its low weight, is unusual for carbon woods.
Vodak Taranis Extra C OFF wood is a slower type of Vodak Taranis OFF wood.
The wood is varnished and is ready for immediate gluing of coatings.
