VODAK Tony Speed Off+ is a new modern offensive 7-ply wood developed in cooperation with Tonda Gavlas, Czech Republic's 2017 Czech Republic champion and European vice-champion in the mix.This new VODAK wood has a different veneer composition on each side using two layers of composite, Diolene and AL-Carbon.The Tony Speed wood is designed for aggressive topspin players who often like to play further away from the table, but also require the ability to play technical strokes at the table.The wood composition is a combination of two woods that have been produced for a long time and are highly praised by players.Thanks to this different composition of veneers and composite on each side of the wood there are also different flight paths and reflections of the ball on the table, which can make it very difficult for the opponent.On the fh Diolen Off for longer ball hold and higher ball trajectory and on the bh Hinoki ALC Off for a lower more aggressive ball flight curve and above all the possibility of playing a nasty reception especially with the so-called banana, and with great control and accuracy.The difference from both original woods is the reinforced center for more aggressiveness. For more control and more spin, a slower wood of the same composition, Tony Off, was developed. Players who prefer the opposite of the game woods can, of course, rotate the woods and happily enjoy the game strategies they want to play. Both veneer and composite compositions are excellent at supporting rotation, especially in the topspin. The Tony Speed wood has an excellent feel for the ball and is perfectly stiff without any vibration. Very closely linked to this stiffness is the accuracy of the strokes.
