Description of wood
VODAK Diolen Speed Off + is a rigid 7-layer offensive wood with two layers of Diolene-aramid. Wood is intended for aggressive offensive play with a focus on power topspin (so-called powertopspin) and drive. During strokes where the player's own force pressure, such as service, block or pink, is not exerted, the wood behaves calmly and accurately.
As with other Diolen-coated woods (Diolen Off, Diolen Spin Off-, Diolen Control All +), Diolen Speed has an absolutely excellent feel, control and rotation support.
The carefully selected veneers used to make the wood have been exposed to microwaves - the veneer sheets are thus compacted, but without losing their elasticity.
The upper Padouk wood veneer is elastic, relatively stiff, but at the same time not too hard and together with the Diolene layer it gives the wood a slightly softer reflection. Thanks to this composition and the technology used, the wood enables a precise controlled block but at the same time uncompromising fast strikes.
The wood has a very good spin potential at its higher speed. Sharp and technical topspins can be played very comfortably and with great accuracy.
The center of Kiri guarantees a good pace and emphasis on the wood, while the seven-layer construction guarantees perfect wood stability and precision in aggressive strokes.
The Diolene layer significantly increases the playing zone of the so-called sweet spot and guarantees the maximum rotation support that is only possible with Off + wood.

The wood is varnished and is ready for immediate gluing of coatings.
